At Xaloc Diving Center, we offer you top-quality training in an exceptional environment: the Marine Reserve of the Medes Islands and the Montgrí Natural Park. Guided by our experienced instructors, you will develop your skills and build confidence to become an SSI professional.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for divers who want to take the step into the professional world. It is ideal for those who wish to improve their skills, achieve a high level of excellence in recreational diving, and become role models during dives.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Advanced certification or equivalent (PADI, CMAS 2**, etc.).
- Stress & Rescue, Deep Diving, Navigation, and Night Diving certifications or equivalents.
- 40 logged dives to start the course (60 for certification).
- Valid medical certificate for diving (issued within the last year).
- Diving accident insurance (available at Xaloc Diving Center).
- First Aid certification obtained within the last 2 years (we recommend SSI React Right).The SSI Divemaster course is designed to provide you with strong theoretical and practical knowledge so that you can lead dives and assist in training new divers.
The course consists of two parts:
A) Practical Training in Pool and Open Water
- Assisting instructors during beginner courses.
- Group management and leadership in recreational dives.
- Safety control and problem-solving underwater.
- Dive site evaluation and selection.
- Buoyancy and advanced navigation skills improvement.
B) Theory through the SSI Digital Learning System
- Access to interactive materials from any device.
- Flexible training to study at your own pace.
