Discover the Underwater World: Your SSI Open Water Diver Training
The SSI Open Water Diver course is divided into three stages designed to help you learn to dive safely, confidently, and at your own pace:
A) Theory: Learn anytime, anywhere
With our interactive SSI digital system, you can start learning immediately and at your preferred pace. You’ll have online access to the Open Water Diver manual and user-friendly materials that explain everything you need to know about diving theory and the practical skills you’ll perform. You’ll complete knowledge reviews and a theory exam to solidify your learning—all from the comfort of your home!
B) Pool Training: Master the essentials step by step
During 3 pool sessions, you’ll learn the essential exercises step by step, both at the surface and underwater, using full scuba gear. You’ll also practice assembling and disassembling your equipment, always under the close supervision of our certified SSI instructors, who will guide you every step of the way to help you build confidence and master key skills.
C) Open Water Dives: Your first big adventure
The Open Water “Basic” course includes 4 open water dives required for your certification. These dives will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in a real environment, performing the necessary exercises to earn your globally recognized SSI Open Water Diver certification, as long as you successfully complete your progression.

Price: The price is per person and includes everything you need for a complete, worry-free experience.
Participants: The course is available for just one person, perfect for adapting to your needs!
Availability: You can choose between two options to fit your schedule:
* Weekends.
* Weekdays: Starting on Monday and finishing on Wednesday.
What’s included in the price?
* Full use of scuba equipment throughout the course.
* SSI certification fees.
* A digital dive logbook to record your underwater adventures.
* Online SSI educational materials for your theoretical training.
*Dive accident insurance for the duration of the course.
What do you need to bring? Just your swimsuit and a towel. We’ll take care of everything else!
Mandatory requirements: Before starting, you’ll need to fill out a medical questionnaire. If there are no contraindications, a medical certificate won’t be required. Otherwise, you’ll need to provide a certificate of fitness for diving.

Where do we conduct the practical sessions?
* Pool: In L’Estartit, at the heart of the Costa Brava.
* Sea: All open water dives take place in L’Estartit as well, within the stunning Montgrí Natural Park. To protect and preserve the marine environment, training sessions are not conducted in the Medes Islands. All sea dives are done from a boat, ensuring an unforgettable and eco-friendly experience.
