The Recreational Caverns and Cenotes course includes 4 components:
A) Practical: 1 theory session
We will talk about underwater safety, propulsion techniques, environmental awareness, specific equipment and communication
B) Practical: 1 pool or confined water session
Here you will begin to apply what you have learned in the classroom but in an easy and stress-free aquatic environment.
C) 2 open water dives
As cave diving does not have direct access to the surface, you will have to learn its risks, how divers should adapt to its conditions and also how to behave within them.
Our recreational Cavern/Cenote diving course provides the necessary training to feel comfortable and safe in dives within the light zone of the caverns according to the BOE, always accompanied by a guide.
D) Theory
You should read the topics related to the course you are going to take, and complete the evaluations and the final exam of the course.
The system used is online, that is, the SSI digital system – to start immediately. Each person studies at their own pace, through an interactive and easy-to-use program. You have access to the online version of the manual and you can complete the theoretical part of the course in this way.
