Xaloc Dive Center, member of the European Charter for the Sustainable Tourism
What is the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism?: The European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Natural Areas (CETS) is an initiative of the EUROPARC Federation , an organization that brings together protected natural areas from 38 European countries. The CETS is a European-wide accreditation of protected natural spaces that have demonstrated their practical commitment to sustainable tourism.
Xaloc Diving Center has become a collaborating company of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism through a complex adhesion system in which our Diving Center has committed itself for the next 3 years to:
- Improve our offer and connection with the protected natural area by instilling environmental behavior, increasing knowledge about the protected area and supporting, at the same time, its preservation so that it can be enjoyed by present and future generations. - Improve the sustainable development and tourism management of the protected area and its area of ??influence, bearing in mind the needs of the environment, the population, local businesses and visitors. - Support local development, heritage conservation and social responsibility by involving local companies in a common sustainable tourism project. Without this involvement, there is no CETS project.
