Our packs of 2 combined specialty courses give you a very good option to continue your underwater education but choosing the options that most attract you. You are the one who must decide what to prioritize: nitrox? Deep? Wreck?

Who can take this combination of courses?

These courses are perfect for those Open Water divers or equivalent (SSI, PADI, ACUC, CMAS 1 *, etc.) who want to continue advancing in their training as a diver.
The requirements to access this course are:
– Have the aforementioned qualification
– Logbook (in digital or paper format)
– You must fill out a medical form (if this is correct, you do not need a medical certificate, but if there is any contraindication to diving, then it will be mandatory to provide a medical certificate of aptitude for diving)
– Diving accident insurance in force (in the same way, if you do not have one you can hire one directly in Xaloc, cost: € 40 for annual insurance or one daily at € 6 / day)
– Minimum age: if you opt for a combination that includes Nitrox you must be at least 18 years old. If you opt for the combination of Deep Diving and Wrecks, you must be at least 15 years old

A) Practice: 3 dives

Two will be outside the Marine Reserve, in the Costa del Montgrí area and a third will be in the Medes Islands Marine Reserve.
Depending on the two options you choose, you will be able to
1) Learn to review the guidelines for exploring and respecting the wrecks, safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks, techniques to avoid removing sediment or spoiling the wreck and disturbing its inhabitants, and diving in restricted environments
2) Learn why to dive with nitrox, as it has more oxygen content and less nitrogen it gives you more bottom time, along with equipment considerations for enriched air. You will practice analyzing the oxygen content of your scuba tank and setting your dive computer to dive with enriched air nitrox.
3) Learn why it is important to follow a course to dive up to 40 meters deep, with techniques such as descents, seeing how pressure affects different objects, compass navigation, ascents, safety stops and emergency decompression.

B) Theory

You should read the topics related to the two courses that you are going to take, and complete the evaluations and final exams of the courses.
The system used is online, that is, the SSI digital system – to start immediately. Each person studies at their own pace, through an interactive and easy-to-use program. You have access to the online version of the manual and the theoretical part of the courses can be completed in this way.

Where dives of the course will be?: Within the Illes Medes and Montgrí Natural Park, specifically two of them in areas of the Costa del Montgrí and the other in areas of the Medes Islands
Who will train you?: All Xaloc instructors are recreational diving professionals and have extensive pedagogical experience. And some of us are even Trainers, that is, we train Instructors.
Mandatory: You must fill out the Medical Form and / or bring your medical certificate of aptitude for diving + you must have your own diving insurance (if you do not have one, you can contract one with us, € 6 / day)

Nuestra filosofía es crear alumnos competentes, seguros y capaces de bucear independientemente junto a otro buceador de la misma, o superior, certificación.
En general, logramos los objetivos de enseñanza en el mínimo de días marcados, pero debes entender que llegar a conseguir el nivel mínimo que requerimos necesita de mucho esfuerzo, tanto por parte del alumno como de tu Instructor y por eso cobramos este tipo de cursos por día de enseñanza.
También te debemos señalar que te certificaremos una vez que tu Instructor crea que has conseguido los estándares mínimos requeridos tanto por SSI como por Xaloc y que serías capaz de bucear con seguridad con un compañero de tu mismo nivel. No te certificaremos si consideramos que no has cumplido con suficiencia el programa para el que te inscribes.
Por tanto,el número de días aproximados marcados en nuestra lista de precios es el mínimo asumiendo que sigas el curso haciendo todo perfectamente a la primera. En caso de que no progreses perfectamente, deberás añadir más días de entrenamiento hasta que lo consigas.
El precio es de 150 €/día.

Neopreno, escarpines, máscara y aletas
