This SSI Specialty Course provides an in-depth and detailed study of physics, physiology, decompression theory, the aquatic environment, and scuba gear. It is the necessary training for most SSI Diving Professional programs, as well as some Extended Range programs.
Upon completion of this program, you will receive the SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification card.

The SSI Science of Diving courses are perfect for those divers who want to continue advancing in their theoretical training as a diver.
The requirements to access this course are:
– Have a minimum Open Water qualification or equivalent
– Be at least 10 years old

Description

The SSI Science of Diving course is a theoretical training course and consists of:

Dive theory training

Course topics should be read: Physics, Physiology, Decompression Theory, Diving Equipment, and Marine Life, 12-20 hours of theoretical learning, and knowledge reviews completed.

The system used is online, that is, the SSI digital system – to start immediately. Each person studies at their own pace, through an interactive and easy-to-use program.

At the end of the online course it is required to complete the exam

The price: is per person
Method of payment: € 50 at the time of booking by bank transfer or credit card and the rest will be paid in cash on the first day of the course (payment by credit card or transfer will not be accepted)
Participant : minimum 1 person
Available days: every day of the week
How is the course developed?:
1) Online theory: once you make the reservation you can have access to the digital theory of the course, being able to start it at any time
2) Theory taught by our Instructors: the course also includes the accompaniment of our instructors, to make it easier for you understanding and mastery of all parts of scuba theory
Duration: between 12 and 20 hours of theoretical training
Additional information: This course is mandatory to be a professional dive guide, divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor
