Who can take this course?

The SSI Sidemount Diving Instructor courses are perfect for those SSI Instructors who want to continue advancing their training as SSI professionals.
The requirements to access this course are:
– Be certified as an SSI Instructor
– Be in Active Status
– You must have a Sidemount Diver certification (if you do not have this qualification, you can take the combined Diver + Instructor course. Price of the combined pack : € 560)
– Medical certificate of less than 1 year
– Diving accident insurance

Description

The SSI Sidemount Instructor course consists of two parts:

A) Practice: 1 training dive

During this dive (which can be in confined or open water) you will practice some of the specific skills that your students will have to do in your future courses. This is important as it has a great practical application to see first-hand how to conduct courses for divers in general

B) Theory

In our classroom we will go over digital learning, instructor materials, and program training standards. You will do an academic presentation as well as a theory exam.
